SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area sassa regularly. The services level designed for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
